At present, Miss Aching, I am speaking to you via a small gilded cherub meant to cleverly disguise the tube through which you are, at present, speaking to me.
[A pause, and a barely audible sigh.]
I am most interested in knowing why, Miss Aching.
Thank you! Tiffany's one of my favorite characters, I'm glad I'm playing her correctly. :D
Why we're trapped here or why I wanted to know what you were using to talk to me with?
If it's the later it's because I'm using a device I've never seen before in our world.
If the former. There are a large group of us from different worlds that were kidnapped by some unseen and unknown power that is holding us in this strange town.
When I saw you were looking for a Rob Anybody I pretty much ran to get a reserve in :D
I am interested in knowing why this strange town of yours has chosen to put you in contact with me, Miss Aching.
[After all, it's never a good sign when portals of any sort start opening up. It always causes a fuss, and Vetinari has enough on his plate without having to worry about another hostile take-over from another dimension.]
......You have no idea how much I love you now. :D
[A long silence. This "electricity" sounds like it might be dangerous, at least as far as the Disc is concerned. It's very worrying. He says nothing, waiting for Tiffany to continue.]
[Conversations with Vetinari tend to leave people a little unnerved. He has a way of creating the sort of silence that people just want to fill. (Of course, Tiffany, being used to silence, may be more immune to this than say, Sam Vimes.)]
[Though Ankh-Morpork doesn't deal much with witches, they are certainly less troublesome than wizards. There's a barely audible sound that might be approval.]

You are speaking with the Patrician of Ankh-Morpork.

I see.
My name is Tiffany Aching, witch of the Chalk.
You wouldn't happen to be trapped in a strange town at the moment, would you?
hope his voice is alright, it's been ages since I played him
[Presumably, she is, or else she wouldn't be asking.]
I can imagene him being hard. It sounds quite good to me. :)
[This is odd...why can she reach the disk now...]
I'm afraid a great deal of us are. Trapped here I mean.
What are you using to talk to me?
Oh good :D Love your Tiffany, by the way :)

All I know is the telephone in my house rang and I answered to find you on the other end.
Strange things happen all the time around here but this is the first time they've done something like this.
Heeeee. :3 I'm excited.
[That sounds... worrying. The clacks were trouble enough, but a device that somehow allows Tiffany to speak to him from another world?]
I see.
So am I! Rob in Mayfield XD This will be epic :D
It's run on something called "elec-tric-ity". I'm not quite sure what that is. But I've been told it isn't magic.
He just got accepted omg :D :D :D YAY!
....I can't wait!
This world is filled with strange things like that.
*squeals* :D
so much love
[This is by far the strangest conversation she's had for a while]
I'm just waiting to get accepted into the comms before I start posting now! I can't wait :D
Where, precisely, is 'here'?
Awesome :)
It's another world. The town is called Mayfield and is somewhere in a country called America.
There are many people from other worlds, however I seem to be the only one from the Disc.

That must be distressing for a young lady like yourself. [There's no sympathy, no patronization in the tone. He merely states it as fact.]

[And this statement says it all]
In the very least I'm getting some practise dealing with choas.
